I’ve loved illustration and letterforms since I was a child, and I’ll never not be fascinated by the way the smallest stroke or slightest, most subtle variations of a letterform can convey a message, create an emotional response, and even generate action.
As a multidisciplinary artist and designer, I use my illustration, hand-drawn type, and industry expertise to help my clients express their ideas successfully and beautifully, through a harmonious balance of perspectives, inspiration, and ideas.
I characterize my work at Smallchalk Studio as the process of putting together all the pieces of the puzzle to create functional design that is not only engaging and full of visual interest, but also meets my client’s goals. Through collaboration and trust, and with over a decade of experience, I create artwork that increases visibility and revenue for clients within an array of diverse industries.
Forever scratching the itch to “touch the work with my hands”, everything I create originates from a tactile media, then reaches it’s full and functional potential through digital formatting.
